I’m absolutely delighted to announce that I am a finalist again for the 2nd year in a row for the Essex Wedding Awards.
I entered for best Make-up Artist again this year and for the 1st year Hair Stylist and I’ve been shortlisted in both categories. I couldn’t be happier. I’ve worked so hard this year and being recognised for an award is just amazing. I’m one lucky lady!
I can’t thank all my brides enough! Thank you to all those who have written such lovely reviews, sent me their wedding pictures and looked gorgeous! Thank you for helping me make finalist again this year! I’m really looking forward to enjoying the glitzy award Ceremony in the luxurious Quendon Park with the Hubby at the end of November. I’ll keep you all posted!
A few Saturdays ago I had the pleasure of doing make-up for the lovely Sharna at the studio. Here’s a before and after shot of her that I wanted to share with you all. I do have a small confession to make we forgot and i had started her make-up in the before shot, but you get the idea.
Thank you Sharna for letting me do a before shot.
Such a busy day yesterday with a Prom trial for the lovely Lucy & then an evening make-up for Alberta who was celebrating her 18th Birthday yesterday. She was recommended by a friend and was delighted by her make-up. Even letting me take a cheeky snap on my phone (“ahhh not in my pink track suit” she said).
The Beautiful Alberta
Last week Lizzie and I were delighted to welcome Maura & June into the studio for a friendship photoshoot.
These ladies have been friends for over 35 years and wanted a few special pictures of them together. They have been through so much over the last few years and are truely inspiring ladies. We loved having them in the Studio and we ensured we made their day an extra special one. Starting with hair and make-up provided by me and they enjoyed this over a nice glass (or 2) of bubbly. They then went on to have a one on one shoot and then a chance to shoot together. We had so much fun with the props and the whole studio was filled with laughter both theirs and ours. Definitely one of the most fun shoots I have been at so far and the pictures couldn’t fail to capture the fun in the room. The bottle of prosecco even got included when they pretended to fight over it.
We were swept away by these 2 wonderful ladies and their true friendship, only a lifetime of friendship can create. We’d have them in every week!
Here’s a few behind the scenes fun shots …
Over the last few weeks you may have noticed, if you follow me on facebook, that i have been blessed to be working with the most talented Photographer at her Studio in Chelmsford. I’m delighted to announce that we will be working together as a more permanent feature from now on.
I’ll be posting a bit more about this in the next week or so. Including a behind the scenes video or two. I am one very lucky lady!!
